Mitsubishi MONTERO

Restoration
The Montero was my father's trusted workhorse. As an agricultural engineer, he spent years working on various farms, specializing in flower cultivation. The utility of a 4x4 vehicle was invaluable in his line of work.
I inherited his passion for cars and motorcycles, and we both found immense joy in working on them together. We were fortunate to have a spacious garage at our home, which provided the perfect environment for our automotive projects.
After my father retired and found himself with more free time, he decided to embark on a restoration project for his beloved Montero. He approached the task with patience, knowing he had his collection of bikes and other vehicles to rely on for transportation.
He began disassembling the Montero with the intention of repairing its body, and I assisted him whenever I could. Unfortunately, due to his untimely passing, he was unable to complete the restoration.
Taking on the responsibility of finishing the project, I dedicated myself to restoring the Montero in his honor. After completing the restoration, I sold it to a local farmer, confident that it would be in good hands. In doing so, I felt a sense of fulfillment, knowing I had given the Montero a second life.

"Restoring the Mitsubishi Montero, known in some parts of the world as the Pajero, has been an exciting journey. I was fortunate to have the support of my good friend, Eduardo Bernal, throughout this endeavor."
This is the actual state of the Montero before beginning the restoration.
