Founded in 2014 by Ruggiero Cateniello,
specialized in the development and production of automotive models, concept and show cars, prototypes, commercial and industrial vehicles, naval and aeronautic vehicles.

We have collaborated with national and international clients, with various entrepreneurs – each with a different need. Yet we’ve brought to all of them: our conviction, our passion for vehicles, to achieve success.

Collectively, we are trained in every aspect of the design and manufacturing process. We can talk to you about ideation and aesthetics through to engineering and manufacturing technique. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of various manufacturing techniques and being able to identify the best approach early on in the design process.

This is to ensure design intent is will be properly executed. Quality is a major ingredient in our work, assuring the high quality we relay in our personnel.

They are seasoned professionals and technicians, their experience gained directly in the field through years of activity, leads the company towards the creation and development of products, that satisfactory meet the needs of an increasingly qualified market.

History

Every epic story has a great start!

The art of coachbuilding goes back hundreds of years and appears to have originated in Europe when the first wooden carriage body was constructed. After the appearance of the automobile, the “carriage trade” first crafted wooden bodies for the earliest cars and later developed methods and skills to cover a wooden framework with sheet metal. Over the years and thanks to the constant evolution in technology new way of “creating automobiles” has emerge, but the core of any car development project still relays in the “old school” skills and techniques.

Techniques and skills to build a model, acquired from metalworkers, woodworkers, sculptors and artists are the same, only the materials have change. Today model makers work with more sophisticated planers, chisels, sandpaper, levels, pliers, hammers, saws, palettes and scrapers, etc.

Instead of just working with wood or metal, now days, we work with clay, different polyester and epoxy resins, fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and with the most advance materials such as carbon fiber and Kevlar.

At CR MODEL STYLING the model making tradition still alive and we combined with all the state of the art technologies, computer aided design software, and advance manufacturing processes.

CR MODEL STYLING may be young, but our personnel has a lot of experience, beginning with the owner Ruggiero Cateniello, that is an example for all, with more than 50 years of experience under his belt, and help built many iconic cars of our time. He has work with well renowned style centers and coachbuilders of Turin.
